SOLD: RARE Series 80' COLT Commanding Officer 1911 .45 acp Excellent condition CLEAN "Blue" steel, no rust or pitting, some minor wear of bluing as seen in pics. Real clean piece, feeds ST & HP well. I would rate this one about 92-95% regarding wear on bluing. The "Commanding Officers Model" was a special edition made by Colt in '86-'87. It is a COLT custom gun and only 365 were made. I have another one that I dialed in w/ custom work that runs like a Rolex. This is good to go as is or perfect candidate for upgrades if desired. More pics available if requested. Great CCW piece. Comes w/ 1 COLT Mag holds 7+1 The Commanding Officer Model for those not in awareness is a Combat Commander frame w/ Officer slide. I have been a 1911 / COLT collector for over 30 years & this is the compact model that works right. Comes w/ Custom Gunsite grips. No box, 2 COLT Mags, custom "GUNSITE" grips. 100% all Original, factory parts, no mods. done.
