I've been contemplating on my next SBS.
I have a few that are on my list.

1. Mossberg 590 A1 14"
2. Benelli M4 14"
3. SRM 1212 12"
4. MKA 1919 14" Tromix conversion

Which would be your choice?

Benelli M4 gets my vote. Seeing one in person is just pure awesomeness.

I haven't seen a Benelli in person, but they do look like a BA SBS.

I already have a Red Jacket 8" SBS that was built 4 years ago. Way before the show. With a few drums and mags.
Waiting for for Mike D. to come out with Double stack mags.

The M4 has got my full attention so far.
Has anyone ever seen a M4 with the American Flag stamped on the receiver?

I only have experience with two 14" M4s and neither was inspiring. They didn't run nearly as well as their full size brethren. Both were very finicky on ammo. They could have been the exceptions, but it curbed my want for one.

I'm waiting on approval for my 14" Mossy 590. I live in MA, so the only SBS's we can have are those that came from the original manufacturer as an SBS. Anything else is considered illegal being a "sawed-off shotgun".

If we could Form 1 a shotgun, I would take a Winchester 1897 pump that was already cut down by someone and make a real Wild Bunch shotgun with a barrel that ends at the end of the mag tube.

I took my 14" Mossberg 590A1 SBS to the range yesterday for the first time and i'm very pleased with it. Just the right length/weight for me.
