I am starting the build of a couple guns and have been looking for a good gunsmith manual or book on how to build a AR/M4. Please weigh in on your best recommendations. Thanks

The AR-15 Complete Assembly Guide by Walt Kuleck.

Good images, and good explanation, and it was easy enough to follow.

This is an A-Z videos to build an AR by our very own Surf here on M4C. I think they are very well done and make it very EZ. I have used them for lowers and will be using them for uppers here pretty soon. Good luck

Will do. I am is the process of moving, so it will be a couple of months before I have my room set up again. I've have a spike's stripped lower that will be the base for a 300 blackout. The other is starting with a polymer lower, and I'm thinking of doing a piston driven upper??

Good stuff already posted, but I'll post this, too, since it isn't here yet.

No problem

I figure that the best place to start is the people who use these things for a living and who's lives depends on them.

Let's face it, anybody can slap one of these things together like aon overgrown lego set.

Doing it correctly, though, is an entirely different manner, and knowing how to properly maintain and repair is even better.

Surf's YouTube vids is some of the best videos out there hands down.
