S&W quality assurance?

Are M&P9's assembled on a separate line than civilian models or tested seprately? I've ordered thru a police supply for the discount and extra mag but i'm interedsted if this may reduce the likelyhood of needing an aftermarket barrel.

Is there a difference between the LE/Mil discount ones and the ones my LGS stocks? I'm doubting that they run different lines for the discounted ones.
