For someone who doesn't have a weaponlight but is considering one to keep handy for the rare possibility of home defense use, and doesn't want to drop $200+ on a Surefire Scout, is this is viable budget alternative?

I've been using the light for a couple weeks now and WOW....great output! I like the programing options that let you lock the output to full time high, instead of scrolling through a ridiculous menu of outputs. The price-point is good and will give the Surefire Fury some competition. Botach has a crappy track record, but recently is supposed to be doing better.
