I'm not ready to buy one yet so I didn't want to pester him with questions, but hopefully I can pester you guys....:)

It's my understanding that the SS barrels have his Mod 0 match chamber which is in between the 5.56 and .223. Is this about the same as the Wylde or a different animal altogether. Would one likely have problems shooting 5.56 pressure ammo out of the match chambers?

Also, I'm assuming that the barrels on the N4, either full guns or uppers are ALL true 5.56. Is this correct? I realize the chrome lining is thicker on the N4's than other CL barrels.

Thanks for any answers.

I asked him the question of wylde similarity and was given this

It is similar to a wylde. The 5.56 NMm0 chamber body is a NATO body in that it falls between the min and max NATO tolerances. The throat is tighter and shorter than a 5.56 NATO for better accuracy.

what does that mean? my Recon shoots well.so I am happy with the product.

I have a Noveske 16.1 Recon upper and it shoots great. I fired S&B, and American Eagle .55gr as well as M855 w/o problems.
