View Full Version : ASAP Ambidextrous Sling Attachment Point

I purchased one of these sling mounts and like it's versatility.

However the locking pin doesn't make sense to me. I have a military size tube and a MagPul stock. I'm using an Aero Precision lower and a Bravo Company upper.

Anyway, the locking pin does not stay in after I tighten down the castle nut. I've tried both pins supplied with the mount.

Any advice?

are you sure your putting it in the slot properly? It should be completely flush with the ASAP.

installed properly I do not think it is possible for the pin to come out. Maybe aome pictures would help.

I got it figured out, boy do I feel like an idiot the way I was trying to get it in there.

It helps to wear glasses when you get my age and try to fit small parts together.
