I believe its legit. I didnt start it i just found it and wanted to pass it along. It cant hurt to sign it though.

This. Getting pro-gun candidates elected in the State Senate is of vital importance. However, the NYC controlled ASSembly led by Sheldon Silver isn't about to change course over a petition.

I didnt start the petition. Amd i didnt come up with the 50,000 people number i was passing it along to get it signed. If it helps great. If not well NY is already a lost cause.

I wasn't trying hassle you if that's what you might have thought. I really was just wondering about the mechanics of it, how the petition would effect a change.
