My wife just had a C Section at 37 weeks. We went in for a regular check up and the anmniotic fluid was low, so they said we should induce-but baby girl was breach so C Section. Sorry for the Facebook post, but need prayers as the there is an issue with the baby's kidneys that was diagnosed several weeks ago.

Will be praying. Our first was born via c-section at 37 weeks just like yours. Low fluid caused him to be all bunched up like a rag doll. He didn't look real, all scrawny at 5lbs and not an ounce of fat on him. How are the baby's lungs? I hope that they get the kidney issue taken care of soon. Please keep us updated.

My grandson's birth was similar to that. It all worked out, and now he's a rambunctious, good hearted 3 year old. Hope your situation turns out well for all. God bless.

Thanks everyone. My wife is doing well and in the regular room. They said our girl is doing good, checking her kidneys with ultrasound. She has bilateral cystic displasia (?) of the kidneys, just trying to figure out how severe. Thanks again for all the well wishes.

Thanks again to all. My wife and baby girl are home now. Her kidneys are larger than normal and also have small cysts. They don't have a diagnosis, said it looks like one of two things but doesn't quite fit either:rolleyes: but have told us that the kidneys appear to be functioning normally-which is great news. We have follow up appointments, and are hoping for the best.

Glad to hear they're home.
I know the feeling of "We're not sure, we need to run some more tests/we just have to wait." frustrating.
Continued good thoughts and prayers for you.

Awwwww. Ya know as a father to two girls and one boy I have to say that I feel for those dad's that only have sons. There is something special about that little girl entering your life, telling you to wrap your self around her little pinky finger, and you willingly and gladly do so.
