New need some advice please

going to be using range brass, cci primers, varget powder, and
armscor 55gr fmjbt bullets wanting to know were i should start at with
the grains of powder and what about OAL will be shooting in a ar15 with
a 24in 1in8 barrel. thanks

Sounds like you're making general purpose ammo by your bullet choice..
Why have you chosen Varget?
It's a real good powder, but it doesn't meter well at all.

I prefer Ramshot TAC and with a 55 grain fmj Hornady bullet I use 24 grains.
I also use it for my match and varmint ammo.

I would only consider Varget if I was going to trickle every charge.

(TAC is cheaper too)
