I pulled a sentinel off a prize table a few years back.
I tried really hard to like a thumbhole stock, but I just could not do it.
I only run Manners T4A's now and life is good.

i came from running AICS for the last 6 years. so it was a pretty easy transition. i like the t4a as well but right now i have 2 aics guns and 2 KMW guns

next i have a whiskey 3 7saum coming and i want to try a ax chassis or a AIAX

Oh man, you are gonna LOVE the Sentinel then.
That lower CG with the bipod set up into the stock is just awesome.
It totally gets rid of the "flopiness" that AICS and AW's have with their extra high CG's inherent into the aluminum chassis design.

i shot a friends KMW built surgeon and loved it, traded into my GAP and now george is building me another on a surgeon action thus the new stock... pretty damn excited.

Interesting thread. I am looking to build my first bolt gun and really like the Manners stocks. I have one question though. What is the point of the "hook" on the T4A?

For the rear bag and rear hand to push the stock into your shoulder
