Haven't gotten a chance to shoot it with this lower yet (this upper has been on other lowers that have since been sold) but the A-DAC function works as described. I'm really happy with how it came out.

Love that lower. Nice looking rifle.
You sir, must have good taste because aside from a few small details and barrel length..... That is the exact riffle I have been building in my head for the last few months. I think you just motivated me to take some action on this concept. Please give a report on that lower when you can. So is 5 months how long you had to wait after ordering the ax556?
That is an awesome looking build. I just wish you could get the AXTS AX556 lower on a Form 4. If I'm spending that much money on a lower, I'd like to have it SBR'd without engraving. That's the only reason I'm still leaning towards the Noveske FFL setup instead for my next build. :(
Man, those T1's are growing on me. I have yet to use one though. How do you like it so far?
You literally just took 99% of my dream build, beautiful rifle man. Enjoy it.

+1
Very nice build btw. My last planned build ended up with me just piecing together a lower and buying a complete BCM upper. This has me making plans again
Sooooo.
You tryna sell that lower?
Pretty sure you are. Let me know.
how long do you have to wait after you order your ax556 lower before it ships to your ffl?

Those lowers look nice, but for the price and wait of 5 months, they aren't worth it IMO.
That is a great looking carbine! Let us know how she shoots.

Thanks everyone.
I'm not sure what the current wait is for the AX556, but I'm sure its less than 5 months. Send them an e-mail and they should be able to give you an idea.

Like all the other posts above, Very Nice Set-Up! Would love to know what you think of the lower after getting out to the range. I have drooled over that lower a lot after first seeing it. It looks the part, just not sure if it would be for me. I like to keep things somewhat simple and don't know if the extra controls would really benefit my needs. I'm not "tactical". It still interests me though.

Agreed. Very nice. I've begun looking into starting a 11.5" build with KAC URXIII and was looking for a nice lower. I think I'll copy you a bit :) pricey but worth it!
ETA is the beginning of September, I just pre-ordered two weeks ago...
That is a very fine looking weapon, I can't wait to get my hands on the AX556.
Thanks everyone.
