Wanting to SBR a Glock 17, but I don't really know where to engrave it... or how... thoughts?

I'm not sure if you could engrave the slide since the frame is the 'weapon' per the law. I'd call the NFA branch; despite being a government agency they've been quite helpful when I've dealt with them.

If they say you can engrave the slide, zipgraver.com does good work at very good prices FWIW.

Laser engrave the frame wherever you can fit your info....
