I'm interested in the KAC folding rear sight. I'm curious if someone can confirm if the micro is shorter than the standard.

My interest is to pair with a Troy front, and want to ensure the compatible height.

I would assume so but I haven't been able to confirm and I've read some conflicting info. If they are the same height, what exactly is the difference?

And yes, I wrote to KAC, but have not heard back.

Thanks,

-john

Micro is designed to work with standard flat top upper front sight gas block towers

As long as the Troy is a rail type on a rail or gas block type on a gas block, you'll be fine.

Oh, sorry. Yah, all rail mounted sights. No gas block mounting.

I have a KAC micro and it's the same hight as all my other BUIS.

i have one of each and the only difference i see is in the size of the windage knob. the micro is considerably smaller. the standard is roughly same size as an a2 windage knob.
