real or fake kac?

saw this at a gun show today, buddy got it in trade. i think it is a clone, does not look like the pics of ones i found on the web. its marked SK-02 below the logo and all the info i have found show the SK-02 is a silver knife.

The hex cutout is oriented differently, the straight edge forward of the serrations before the angle change looks different (and more crude), the handle scale profile looks more rounded in the "authentic" pics, the raised thumb ramp is absent on your pic, the rear portion of the handle scale integrates differently to the pommel, and the blade profile is pretty different once you look at it for a second.

My diagnosis: rip-off.

thanks for the info. i need more on this fake so i can show my buddy he got taken; a website selling it or posts talking about it. he would want to believe it is an older or newer one than what you linked to above.
