Looking at the PSA 16" CMV 5.56 Nato, Mid-Length, Pencil profile, Chrome-lined, MP, Premium Barrel thats currently selling for 149.99 with free shipping. Can anyone comment on this barrel for a light weight build.

I have the "lighter profile" barrel with the standard FSB, not the pencil profile and I like it alot. I saw a thread on TOS where someone asked about the weight difference between the two & a PSA rep replied 3.2 oz

If you'd prefer a .750 FSB it would only cost you 3.2 oz.

Don't know if this helps in any way?

Thanks for the link, as for the FSB there are two good sources for .625 fixed front sights and plenty of weaver style front gas blocks so I do not mind the difference. I will buy a spare just in case I break the original during three gun.
