Colt 6920MP-R or Socom

Ive narrowed it down to two versions of the colt 6920. I can get the 6920mp-r for 1104 or the LESocom version for 1381. Ive researched both guns even down to the troy battlerail vs Knight's Armament Quad Rail but i still dont know cant decide which to buy. it will be mainly a range gun and will add to my collection of handguns for home defense. Which would you guys recommend.
