thanks for a well laid out and informative site.
first post after a long time here and looking forward to more as i build, train, and grow as a shooter with an AR platform.
I'm familiar with firearms from duck and deer hunting but AR's are still relatively new ground for me.
I got my Stag 4 years ago as a way in the door. 4 years is a long time and I should've been shooting much more. A couple kids schedules prevent that! My stag is a 16" chrome lined barrel with 1:9 twist, iron sights, run pmags with 55grain rounds routinely. most shooting is on our farm at 100 yards or on the NRA range in fairfax.
I'm anxious to add optics and a light at this point. I don't need much else to keep me happy. Outside of training of course.
