pretty sure i can't get hurt on this deal but ck this out.
a co worker says he has a 6" smith 357 he will take $300 for:cool:
i asked him if it had an underlug. i even drew him a crude pic of an underlug. he says yes. even if it dosen't have underlug, is it worth $300?
i'm not really a cowboy gun guy, but it would be fun to try some long range shooting, maybe hog hunt. should make a good car gun too. i'd rather a $300 piece get stolen than a $500 glock.
what say you folks?
thanks

Almost any S&W .357 that's functional is worth $300 these days. If it has desirable features beyond that, so much the better. I'd take $300 cash with me, pending inspection of the gun. I'd ask it's history (i.e., where he got it). Is this coworker reliable? It's almost impossible to tell if it's stolen unless he has the original receipt.

Work the deal, just keep your head about you and if anything feels wrong, walk away. Good luck!
