View Full Version : What year did Colt start the T markings on M4 uppers?

Hey guys, I have a Colt M4 14.5" barrel that I am perming an extended flash hider on, for my M4 clone. It has a date stamp of 10/03. I will be using a colt m4 upper on this build, but am unsure if it would be correct to use one with or without the "T" markings. From my research, Colt may have started the "T" marks somewhere 2000-2003 ish. Anyone know for sure?

Thank you sir. Looks like I need a raised "C" upper (not sure which forge code, if it matters, though?) with the "T" markings. The hunt begins....:(

For a 2003-2004 gun you need an upper with a raised elongated C and a keyhole forge code.
