Today, I finally got to shoot my new Advantage Arms Kit. I am happy to report that function over 50 rounds was flawless. CCI Mini-Mags and Federal Automatch were the ammo of choice. As per the insturctions, it was heavily lubed.
I am currently waiting on more magazines to arrive for a heavier workout.
Also accuracy semed as good if not a tad bit better than the stock 9mm barrel and slide. No complaints here.
The one caveat I must address is if you have an AA kit installed and a Safariland ALS, DO NOT INSERT IT INTO THE HOLSTER WITHOUT FIRST REMOVEING THE LOCKING MECHANISM FROM THE HOLSTER!!!
I made this mistake. Fortunately removing the screw that retains the locking mechanism allowed me to withdraw the pistol,
If you plan on using that holster, I suggest a dedicated training rig with the locking mechanism removed.
