Probably a Colt SP6920CA (CA legal model). You can tell it is a CA model because it has a bullet button instead of a magazine release button. Roll markings on receiver will just say "M4 Carbine"

The pistol grip has been changed to a Magpul MIAD grip
Buttstock changed to a Vltor Imod stock
Handguard changed to what looks like a Troy MRF 7" to me.
Magpul MBUS rear sight added as well.

I'm not even sure that the rifle is Colt. But it's got so much aftermarket stuff on it, it's nothing like its factory configuration.

If it is a Colt, it's likely an SP6920. Although I've never seen selector markings on the right side of a Colt. They might do that, but I've never had one with the markings there.

I'm thinking the OP is just rolling "AR15" into "Every AR15 is a Colt".

Of course, those Cali guns are a different fruit flavored beast...

Maybe Colt does make them "Special".

Just realized that. I should have checked the OP post count before assumign the "Colt" part was 100% accurate. However I am seeing some with the selector markings on both receiver sides, so who knows.

1. Who knows if it is a Colt or not.

2. Does it really matter?

3. Not serving any real informational value.
