Picked it up Saturday at Nagels in San Antonio. Couldn't be more happy. Used it in my chl class I took yesterday. Here is a pic of my first 100 rds on Sunday from 15 yds. 13232

Glad you found one. I got mine used a few months ago and it works great and no front cocking serrations:D More accurate than I am. David

I love it so far. Only put 150 rds through to date but that's soon to change. Have you shot any hollows through it yet? Any it doesn't like?
Nice shooting! Congrats on the SR1911!

To this day I regret turning one down from my LGS before Ruger went apeshit with it. It was offered to me for $600 OTD. Sad face, indeed.

Nice shooting
Glad to hear positive feedback on this gun.
keep us informed on how it shoots as the round count increases . I want to add the Ruger to my collection.
I've had mine for 16 months and could not be more pleased with it. I've never had a 1911 in this price range that I like as much as I do the SR1911. I paid $639 and really lucked up getting it when I did.
Now, if they'd just make it in carbon steel.
Congrats on yours.

Mine is also great and I want one in carbon steel too. Carbon really is better than stainless.
The SR1911 is non-existent around my area. Congrats on yours. Keep us posted on how it holds up when you put a ton of ammo through it.
