I am new to this forum and i just recently purchased a new S&W M&P PSX. I sent it back the day after I bought it because according to the Owner's Manual it was supposed to have a bolt spring and because the parts (Chamber, Barrel bore, Gas Key, and Bolt Carrier) were not chromed as advertised. Since sending this rifle back I have found out that S&W is using Adam's Arms Patent for the piston system with some minor tweeks and it no longer needs the bolt spring and that they have switched to a new coating that is supposed to be 10X harder than chrome. So much for sending a perfectly good rifle back for no reason. You would think they would let a new owner know these things ahead of time. Anyway I would like to hear any feedback good or bad that other owners have had with this rifle or anything else someone would like to add about this rifle. Thank you.
