View Full Version : help finding bullet arc video
Failing miserably at finding video that I have seen before with some long distance shooting where conditions made it possible to see the trajectory through the air.
Anyone got the link?
Thanks
Go to youtube and search "bullet vapor trail". There's tons of them.
Find Trident's videos. He's got great bullet trace videos... some with tracers too.
This one is good.

Trident has posted some good bullet trace vids. It's not a vapor trail as the bullet does not condense water vapor from the air. What you're seeing is the disturbance of the air as the bullet passes through
Thanks to all. Exactly what I was looking for.
I've got a few videos of Pappabear shooting 1000 yards with a some bullet trace....
But they're nowhere near as cool as Trident's videos.

What's with the tracer that took a hard left at Albuquerque? Did the tracer material come off the bullet and destabilize it or something?

Is that a bugs bunny reference? :p
We don't know what that bullet was doing. I think it went transonic and went wonkie.... but Trident disagrees. Strange.
Looks like a ricochet to me.
