A border patrol officer took a tumble on an ATV during training and landed on his holstered P2000 .40. The fall snapped the polymer frame making the pistol inoperable.

I have seen aluminum M9 frames break too, so I disagree with the author that using metal frames turns your pistol into a tank. Double stacked magazine pistols sacrifice frame durability around the grip for more capacity(in comparison to their single stacked cousins).
PS: Looks like he was using a Serpa.
