Hey guys. I'm new to the site. Figured I would post my first AR build.

Details:
Rock River Arms stripped lower receiver
M&A LPK
JP Enterprises 3.5# trigger springs
Magpul MOE enhanced trigger guard
KNS anti-roll pins- hammer and trigger
Command Arms G27 hogue grip
Magpul CTR adjustable stock
Mil spec buffer tube/spring/buffer
Ambi safety selector
Stag Arms 2HTL upper half w/ Stag Arms BCG
Samson Star-C quad rail
ARMS #40 back up iron sight (rear)
Standard A2 front post sight
Tactical charging handle
Yankee Hill Machine 5C2 flash guard
Magpul XT rail covers

I need to add a sling and sling mount. Looking at the Magpul MS3.

Thoughts?

Thoughts?

Since you asked...

IF... if you plan on running the gun hard or using it for serious defense... I'd

1. Get a better LPK. I don't trust M&A.

2. Get rid of the J&P spring thing. Non standard springs are best left to the match homos.

3. Get rid of the KNS pins. They accomplish nothing. and..

4. Keep an eye on that BCG. There's a thread going on here where a guy was talking about seeing several broken Cam pins in Stag BCGs recently.

The rest of the gun isn't too shabby, and more a matter of personal preference.

Which kit is preferred?

Use stock LPK springs? Or a whole different trigger assembly?

They're on, they'll stay

Noted. Thanks.

DD or Colt. Or get a LPK from G&R

The JP springs are fine, I've been using them for years and have yet to have an issue. KNS Pins... you need the pins anyway, whats the differance if they are KNS or any other one? As far as the LPK goes, when you break something let us know, I doubt you;ll ever have an issue. Best of Luck.

Looks nice. I've had a M&A parts kit in a lower I've shot the crap out of. The trigger is nice compared to others I've used. I have yet to have any issues with the lower parts. A spare bolt catch and springs are a good idea.

Everyone should inspect their bcg regularly. However, I think a spare bcg is a good idea for everyone also. May as well get one known for reliability as a LMT or BCM , use one of these and keep yours as a backup.

about the KNS pins there is much to the "and..."

Roger that on the backup BCG. I've noticed when looking at "rifle class" requirements that they require everyone to bring a backup BCG as to not hold the group up. I eventually want to get into some classes and improve my (lack of) skills with this thing. Haha.
