I have a Daniel Defense Aimpoint Micro T1 mount that I love, but it's not QD. My agency is changing their policy on personally owned optics (and optics period) on AR15 patrol rifles and they now require optics to be physically REMOVED from the gun during qualification with iron sights....and then reinstalled (in a matter of moments) to do the 2nd half of the qual with an optic.
Yes, it's bullshit. Yes, I'm pissed. But I can't do anything about it. I had to give up my Geissele SD-C simply because the trigger bow is flat...but that's another story.
I would like to trade my DD mount (which weighs 1.7oz) for a Larue LT-660 that is is new or VERY lightly used condition. I don't need any of the swag that came from Larue. I realize the Larue mount is more expensive than the DD, so an additional payment of $20 is on the table in addition to the trade. PM me with offers or questions. I'm in Florida and will be shipping from same.
