Am I cutting it too close for a suppressor?
Does anyone have a Troy 13" on a 14.5" or 14.7" barreled upper?
If so would you please post pictures. If not will this set up work?
S&W has a M&P15 TS model that mates a 14.5" barrel with 13" Troy
14.7" w/perm'd spike's dynacomp (short), 13" vtac
OA bbl length 16.1"

What suppressor?
You should have plenty of clearance, 1.2" if everything is the length its supposed to be.
You need less than 1/4" for most suppressors

Here is my 14.5 w/13" Troy Alpha rail. I have the BC 1.5 on mine, you will obviously use a different comp or mount, but this should at least give you an idea as to how much clearance you will have.

Sorry for the hijack, but what on earth are you growing in your fireplace? Tribles?
Looks like melted candles.

WTF is a Trible?
I live in San Diego, rarely is it cold enough to warrant needing a fire. So my new wife decided she wanted to make it pretty. So what you see is a wooden candle holder with several candles on it and the stuff surrounding it is some potpourri shit my wife found at Michael's craft store. Sorry for the hijack OP.

When it's complete please post pics as I will most likely do the same with roughly the same set-up (might go with NSR instead of Troy). I'm worried about heat dissipation.
@fallenromeo: Season 2, Episode 15, the original series with Spock, Kirk, and Bones. Your wife is a very original thinker, I salute her for confounding me; happens very, VERY, rarely. Set up could use a little more color though.... like the tribbles :D
I agree. That is more than enough room unless you are running a Ruh-tard set up.

YHM QD Stainless suppressor, not as high speed as others but the price was right and it suits my needs. I just wish YHM would allow others to make hosts for the suppressor.
I'm going to send it off to ADCO to have everything done.
This is my 14.5" BCM with 13" Troy/VTAC TRX-E, I don't run a suppressor but I would think that any that don't cover the barrel at all would work fine.

Plenty of room
