I wanted to have a little lighter general discussion topic. I would venture most of us have been purchasing and learning about firearms for quite a while. My question is if you had to start from scratch with say $10,000 with the knowledge that you have currently, what would you buy?

Assume your curent firearms were lost, stolen, or other wise unavailable and these funds are to rebuild your collection.

The only rule is that the $10,000 must be used for firearms or optics.

I have all the weapons I require, however, if I were to happen upon a spare $10,000-$15,000 I'd land myself one of these,

Two SCAR-Hs (two is one and all that) and the appropriate glass.

Anything left over would allocate mags, ammo, and a suppressor.

Pair of Colt 6921 carbines - $1400 each, with tax ($2800 total)

AAC Ranger Suppressor ($700, with tax)

Pair of Glock 19s - $475 each ($950 total)

PVS-14 ($3400)

Grand total: $7850

I would then spend the rest of the money on magazines, a vest, plates, lights, etc...

Gunsite Scout Rifle with Leupold Scout scope, ching sling, and Surefire 762 Mini.

BCM Mid 16 Mod 0 with Aimpoint M4S and IWC/Surefire Combo. Ares Armor Huskey MkII EWS sling.

BCM 11.5" Carbine with Aimpoint T1 and IWC/Surefire Combo. Ares Armor Huskey MkII EWS sling.

2 Glock 19s with Surefire x300s and Ameriglo Operators.

2 SW 642's.

And the rest can go towards ammo and mags. With that small armory, I could handle just about everything that comes my way.

I'm not gonna lie, I'd rather put that money down for land on which to build a private range etc.

Glock 17, 19 & 26 with night sights.
STI Perfect 10.
Browning Buckmark with 4" threaded Tac-Sol barrel and Primary Arms RDS.
Kel-Tec P-32
Bravo Co. 14.5" LW Middy with Aimpoint H1 & pinned BattleComp 1.5.
Dedicated .22LR upper with Primary Arms RDS.
Savage Mark II FV-SR .22LR with Burris Timberline 4.5-14X32.

That's a little over $11K at my prices, but that's where I'd be headed. I'm assuming I'd still have my ammo stash for these (except the 10mm, which I haven't acquired yet). :)
