correct way to sell lower receiver?

I should have asked this question first but I am selling a lower receiver on here and I'm wondering what the correct process is? I know it needs to go to an FFL but can I send it to the buyers FFL or do I have to have it sent through an FFL?

Depends on whether his FFL will accept guns shipped from individuals like yourself or only from FAL's.

whoever buys it get their FFL phone Number call and ask if he will accept the lower directly from you including a copy of your Photo ID ,

if Not go to your local gun store have them call the buyers FFL dealer and request him the fax or email them a copy of his FFL. then they will charge you a fee 35-50 dollars and they will ship it to your buyers FFL so he can do the transfer


EDIT: If the Buyers FFL does accept it from you make sure you get a delivery Conformation and insurance on your receiver just to be safe
