Very nice - congrats!

I just picked up a satin blade version just like that.

It fits in nicely between my Mini CQC7a and my Super CQC7.

Emerson makes a very nice blade.

I like the mini version of that knife. Not the best for everyday use, but a good solid knife nonetheless.

Very nice.

I have owned 2. One is the version made by Benchmade, the other is an Emerson made, #172 with the Wave feature (the second CQC7B is still my EDC, and it's been through all kinds of hard use).

Word to the wise: use red loctite on the 3 screws that secure the pocket clip, and also on the screw that secures the opening device.

I noticed mine were loose before they fell off . . .

I also use blue loctite on the screw that secures the blade to the rest of the knife. This keeps it from loosening on it's own and allowing the knife to open when I don't want it too.

Emersons are addictive. But the Strider is my favorite.

I like my CQC-15, holds an edge and is very solid in my hand
