Just bought a lightly used TRP which was supposedly GTG but when I received it I noticed it has a broken ejector (yes I am very impressed right now!). When I got to looking at it I noticed that the ejector is not pinned and after further research I hear that it is glued in? Really? Is the ejector not a user-servicable part on the TRP or can it be removed with some heat?

SA as standard practice glues their ejectors in. With that being said they are usually god to go, Ned Christianson (a 1911 smif) has a post on here of a SA MC Operator with over 50,000 rounds and on the same glued ejector.

With that said, call SA tomorrow let them know what's going on. They will give you a prepaid shipping label and you send it to them with a note to PIN the replacement ejector. Beware, once in the hands of SA you may be tempted to have the custom shop do a little work here and there...could increase your wait time ;)
