View Full Version : Winchester m855 07 production from gilberts guns
I have decided to maybe order 1000rds of winchester m855 from Gilberts guns for $500. Has their been any reliabilty problems with the 07 production. It seems like gilberts is the only place with it in stock. Is this good ammo and is their a better deal on it anywhere else? Good idea or buy something else.
That is way too high.
I think Grant is out of M193 from PRIV, but maybe Wideners still has it in stock. That would be a much wiser use of ammo funds.
M855 is a mediocre round, and shouldn't be costing $0.50 per round.
So the 07 partizan is just as good? I might get that instead then.
That's what I'd do. The WIN M855 is high quality ammo, but it's still just M855. Adequate, but certainly not worth 50 cents per round.
You can get the PRIV in the 30-40 cent per round range.

Rumor has it Prvi will be selling their M855 to civvies in '08.
