This class is designed to stress the proper shooting techniques and weapons manipulation that are unique to the shotgun. Students will have a solid skill set to be able to run the shotgun as a home defense or primary personal defense weapon.
Topics Covered:
Patterns with buckshot
Effective distance of the shotgun and loads used.
Bird shot to slugs
Zeroing
Emergency/Admin reloads
Multiple target engagements
Slings and their proper use
Requirements:
450 rounds of birdshot*
25 rounds of slugs*(various brands are good so you can see what works best)
50 rounds of buck shot* (various brands are good so you can see what works best)
Dump pouch, Shell carrier or cargo pockets (ability to carry 25 shotshells on your person)
Snacks and drink for 8 hours of training.
