View Full Version : Who Makes A NATO Birdcage Flash In 14x1LE Metric...?
Basically looking to run my HALO suppressor on my SIG 552. The original three prong is the right outside diameter but just a bit too short.
Would this be it?

This (http://www.midwayusa.com/product/828794/krebs-custom-guns-m16-a2-style-flash-hider-m14x10-lh-thread-ak-47-ak-74-steel-matte) Krebs is the only A2 I could find, the outside diameter is not specified though.
The rest of the muzzle devices I found in that thread style are either vortex type(Smith/Surefire) or BC 2.0/Dynacomp.

TROS might make something that would work. Either a FH, an adapter, or re-threading. http://trosusa.com/

And THANK YOU.
The Smitharms Vortex is available in 14x1LH metric. These will give you better flash suppression when not using a can than the A2 and I think they are compatible with the Gemtech HALO. The updated Swiss flash hider should also be compatible as it was designed for use with the B&T Rotex suppressors that mount similar to the HALO. You may also want to contact VLTOR and see if they will do one of their flas hiders (made specifically with the HALO in mind) in 14x1.
Im sure CNC Warrior could get you what you want.

Got a source for purchase? Preferably one with dimension information.

The only place I know of is CO Gun Sales. And sorry I don't have dimensions. Let me do some digging and I'll get back to you.

Basically need to know it's long enough. The current 552 flash hider has the same outside dimensions as a NATO flash, but it's just too short for a HALO.
