My first build

I thought it was time to put one together myself (lower at least) and see what I was missing. The parts hunting came together in the space of about 2 weeks.

Noveske stripped lower
LPK, LMT buffer tube from Grant
BCG and charging handle came with the lower
Ergo grip
Troy fixed front sight found on EE
BCM midlength upper from EE
Magpul ASAP and moe stock (might change it not sure yet)
Troy 13" alpha rail
Aimpoint Pro pilfered from my 6920 for the pics

I like the way it came together. Not to difficult to assemble a lower with a few tools that I already had. Not sure if I am going to tackle an upper build anytime soon though. Now to get out and see how she shoots.

OP, why did you decide to go with a flip rear site but a fixed front?

wetidlerjr, Hopefully when I take a class soon this one will be my back up to the Colt.

fallenromeo, My other two are carbines with flip up rears. I guess I never thought about that much and had the MBUS in a box anyway. I will try it for awhile and see how it goes. Might switch later if a fixed shows up on the EE that I can't pass up.
