Simple question. Does a holster for the Surefire X200-X300 fit a weapon with a Streamlight TLR-1????

I can not figure out Safariland's holster chart to save my life! I can remember a while ago fitting a TLR-1 in an ALS holster designed for the X-300.

I want to say yes that they will fit the same holsters in regards to the ALS. Would test it but do not have both available.

I want to buy an SLS and the black one with that model number says M3-M6 and the FDE one says X200-X300. So far that two for yes.

I just got a 6378 that fits both the TLR-1 and the X300. It says TLR-1 and X-200 on the package.

Maybe. You never know how accurate the description on a third party website will be, especially one that deals in huge volumes of discounted goods.

The TLR bezel is larger in diameter than the Surefires. I know that our agency buys 6360's for Glock 17/22's with TLR-1's because they fit both TLR's and Surefires. I don't know if the reverse is true.

Worst case, as long as it's not a leather finish, and you aren't too concerned about looks, a heat gun will fix it.

Or just buy an X300. I just have about 5 TLR-1s and I like the white light of the TLR-1 over the blueish beam of the X300.

Lame says may take 3-5 weeks to ship. I'm gonna call in the am. So begins another duty gear hunt.

Kinda weird it doesn't list the TLR-1 like this one http://www.opticsplanet.com/safariland-6378-als-paddle-holster-stx-plain-black-right-hand-6378-832-411.html

Perfect example of having no idea what you are selling.

Perfect example of having no idea what you are selling.

Actually, no, it's a perfect example of not paying attention to detail as a customer.

They're selling the 836 fit code for the 6004 holster.

That is listed on the will fit chart as ONLY fitting the Surefire X200/300 lights.
http://safariland.com/DutyGear/info/willfit/PT%203_9-05-12_Duty%20and%20Tactical%20holsters%20with%20Lights-Pistols.pdf

The 832 fit that was referenced in that link for the 6378 holster is listed differently on the will fit chart, and is listed by Safariland as fitting both.

The 6378 uses an ALS mechanism, where as the 6004 uses only the SLS mechanism. Because they retain the firearm in a radically different way (top strap, versus a pivoting plastic ejection port block) the 832 fit isn't listed as fitting those same lights in for the SLS series hoslters (6280, 6004, etc).

The retailer is giving you the correct information, in this case.

With the SLS series holsters, you need to pick if you want it to fit the TLR or X series lights. If you want a drop leg from Safariland that will fit either, you should look at the 6304-832 series (ALS+ SLS Level III).

So me asking a question about the holster( see first post) is not paying attention?
A company showing a picture of a Beretta 92 and listing a holster for a Glock is who's fault?
I was simply asking for advice and information from experience on this forum.

Yes it should. I've swapped between the two of them without issues.

With an SLS, not ALS?

I haven't had a problem with either. They work fine with my X300, TLR-1 and Insight WX150

I can't speak universally but I have several 6004s (which are SLS, not ALS) for X200s and they do NOT fit with a TLR-1 installed. My 6305 and 6360 (both ALS/SLS) fit with either. The linked holster above shows a 6004 (SLS) which in my experience is a tighter mold in the light area and will not fit a TLR-1. Mine are for Sig P226Rs.

As far as I know, the SLS models (62xx) are light specific and the ALS (63xx) will fit either the TLR-1 or the X300.

OK. I had my holsters confused. The SLS model designed for the X200/X300 will not fit the TLR-1 or WX150. My SLS holster (for my HK USP/Not pictured) designed for the Insight M3 will fit all three of my lights. My ALS holsters will fit all three.
