I got my Ned Christiansen 5.56 neck and throat chamber reamer today. Ned shipped it very quickly and it's a fantastic product.

I just reamed my 14.5" LMT (it didn't remove much metal at all), I then did my CMMG 11.5" chome lined bbl (it removed quite a bit, very hard to get it started) and then my M1Sales 11.5" chrome moly bbl, on that one it removed a ton of metal (I think this one was actually a .223 chamber and was VERY hard to get started, this one took me about 10min).

Thanks Ned, Keep making great tools! I think a perfect M4/CAR stock staking tool should be next! :D Something that does nice even stakes like your MOACKS would be awesome, but probably pretty hard to make work with the various end plates w/sling loops.

Stay Safe,
Robb

Rob,
Just found this thread and had to add something. Ned is an amazing 'smith and a hell of a guy to boot. I got the nickel tour of his shop one time, and was completely amazed at what he showed a few of us. Its almost scary when you start talking specifics with him, espcially about 1911's. He has forgotten more about 1911's than I can ever hope to know.

By now, I'm sure that most mere mortals have marveled at Ned's metalwork, but most don't know how genuinely "good" he is. His talent and intelligence are eclipsed by his kindness and desire to help others--scary. Sorry, I had to catch myself mid-ramble. Suffice it to say that Ned is bleach in our collective murky gene pool.;)

I ordered a P-MOACKS from Ned at lunchtime on Friday, with a lanyard hole and custom stamping. Had it in my mailbox Monday afternoon.

Exceptional service, and an excellent product.

I ordered one of his Eo-tech adjustment decals on 10/1 and received it 10/4. Can't ask for a faster turnaround. The decal is the way to go for the eotech, plus it looks cool!!

Absolutely. I have both his MOACKS and his chamber reamer, and overengineered is an understatement. Great machinist, great smith, great teacher, and great guy. Definitely one of the best of the best.
