almost finished with my first build and had a mound of handguard panels to choose from (e.g. magpul, yhm, troy, DD) but ended with the Midwest Industries 9" mid 2pc and can not be more pleased. Rock solid, matching finish to upper receiver, and priced attractively. My next build will be FF 15" HG from MI.

I would just like to second this. Purchased my first ar yesterday from them. It was a great experience and they were very helpful. It was nice to find a knowledgeable shop near me, the lgs were really starting to frustrate me. I will definitely be back when I'm ready to up grade.

Big thank you from me as well! Between BCM for the URG, G&R Tactical for the LRG, and MI for the BCG (and a whole lot of patience), I was finally able to finish a complete BCM build! Their customer service is fast, friendly, and excellent to boot!
