View Full Version : Where are noveske chrome barrels made?
IV heard a few different places thrown around...
Brookings, Oregon last I heard, just a couple miles from my parents.
They used to use blanks that were worked on at Pac-Nor, then brought in house for contouring, etc.
I've heard they were made to their specs in Columbia SC then Noveske finishes them in house in Oregon
Pac Nor makes the Noveske stainless barrels, NOT the chrome barrels.
The chrome barrels are from FN I believe.

That was my best guess as well.
So there just straight from fn? No work done to them after they reach noveske?
Do a search. There is an article discussing the relationship of PacNor and Noveske regarding Noveske barrels
Why not email or call them and ask directly? Or Todd.K who works for them. Much more reliable.
I emailed them, waiting for a response.
For the price they demand I think they are made in Fantasia by magical dwarves that ride on the back of flying unicorns.
A very well articulated argument for the current state of pricing as is reflected by product development, quality standards and market demand.

I can get a Centurion 16" lightweight barrel with a pinned gb and gas tube for $50 less than a comparable Noveske barrel. That cool iron cross logo isn't worth that extra $50 to me.
Don't buy then. Unless you have something of substance to add here stay out of this thread. Both of your posts add nothing of substance to the discussion.

From an email I recieved from them, they make there own chrome barrels.
Finish their own cl barrels is more likely.

I wasn't aware they were a maker of hammer forged barrels. I thought there were only a few comapnies that had that ability in the U.S. Can someone confirm this?
I cannot offer a complete list of all the barrel hammer forging machines in the US, but I am aware of them at Ruger, FN and Daniel Defense.
