This automated high frequency trading has to be limited. It's a disaster waiting to happen (assuming we don't count the episodes which have already occurred).

The exchanges, regulators, take your pick, need to impose a minimum fee on every transaction which would have a negligible impact on those executing legitimate trades but would crush the computerized high frequency players who manipulate the markets.
