View Full Version : NC Hog hunting
Does any one here have any experience on hog hunting in NC. Looking closely around the Neuese river basin?
Any thoughts welcome.
Thanks

I would also be interested in NC hog hunting options. I would also be willing to travel to Northern SC or GA.

I'm in for sure. Me and a couple of the guys are gonna try an figure something out when we get back from the desert. Gives me enough time to build a dedicated 300blk :dance3:
Starting my homework on this, the link is to NCWRC rules for temporary rules that allow hunting coyotes and feral swine at night with a light on private lands will go into effect 01Aug12. I'll keep looking into this.

They are a growing problem in NC, especially eastern NC. Here's a link to a place in Johnston County.

I understand they are fairly proliferous around Hyde County and the surrounding areas.
I am interested.

LOL, when discussing a hunting trip, try not to refer to yourself as being "game" :D

Wouldn't be free for me, but from the NE, shouldn't be too expensive depending on some variables obviously. I'm not much of a hunter, but have always wanted to hog hunt.
