Has anyone mounted an SWFA 10x on an AR? How was the eye relief and how did you like it? I am thinking about going to a fixed optic for target shooting.
This is the rifle it may be going on.

I'm running a SS 12x in an ADM Recon Mount on my MWS w/ 18" SS barrel.
I do not have much trigger time on the setup yet but have not had any issues thus far.
Heading back out this weekend to put some more rounds downrange with it.

I had one on a bolt gun and was very impressed with the scope for the money.

I have that scope on a 24" varmint .223 and it is very nice. No problems at all.

Thanks. It looks like a basic cantilever will mount it far enough forward for good eye relief. Now I just need to start saving and make sure that I want to go with a fixed power scope.
They also make a nice 3-9.

They do but that is a lot more money for my broke self.

I have never heard anything negative about the SWFA line. I was planning on putting a 10x on my M1A and picking up a 3-9 or 1-6 for my recce rifles.
If you don't like it, SWFA has great customer service.

Ahhhh. I've definitely been there bro. The SS 10x I had on my Remington 700 LTR was a great scope.
I plan on getting one after the new year to do some accuracy testing on my Noveske n4. I like'em. For the money, all the SWFA SS scopes are hard to beat, both the budget line and the HD line.

I used the 3-9. No complaints whatsoever, and I feel it's a great match for the rifle platform.
I realize there are budget constraints to consider, but I wouldn't want to be stuck with one magnification personally.
