Thought I would share my dad's recently completed rifle. He has owned this and hunted with it for nearly 40 years. What a gun!

Winchester Pre-64 Model 70 Featherweight 22" barrel in .270 Winchester.
Modifications after removing wood stock, rear sight, front sight, trigger guard and floorplate assembly:
McMillan Hunters Edge graphite stock with three flush mount sockets for 3 point Ching sling.
Williams bottom metal with Oberndorf trigger guard, NEC 6 (New England Custom Gun) Masterpiece banded ramp and sour dough front sight.
Talley rear peep sight, Graphite black Cerakote finish on all metal, Leupold 2.5-8x36 with Alumacaps, Talley QD rings, Galco sling, Galco butt cuff with Talley base attached for Talley peep sight (BUIS).
Barrel Crowned, Bolt Recontoured, All metal inletted into stock, Action bedded, barrel free float, dovetail for original rear sight filled before finish.
