Does anyone make a holster like the 6004 but for the hip? I now use Milt Sparks holsters and would like to carry my Dester Warrior with the Tac light mounted if possible.

Safariland makes the same holster in a belt mount. I usually use the Safariland holster with the longest hip drop, and then add a leg strap to the bottom hole of the holster.

I would suggest checking out Sidearmor. Very well built! http://sidearmor.com/images/holsters/glock/modular/x200/PICT1012_800.jpg (http://www.sidearmor.com/cart/customer/product.php?productid=75&cat=&page=&xid=a47dd998a8572b5503b5276b518d4467)

SideArmor may not be a bad hoie for Right Handers; however they make very few left handed models.

Sorry, gotta go with Nyeti's recommendation or suggest BladeTech.

Will that Sidearmor holster work both with and without the light?

I prefer some degree of retention in a tactical holster, and prefer the 6004 above all others currently available.

I do the MM mod (http://www.militarymorons.com/faq/faqs.html) on my 6004 to bring it higher on the thigh, but still low enough to clear armor.

Do you happen to recall what holster model this is? I was thinking it was the 6280 but those all look to be SLS Leather duty holsters.

I have a Blade Tech paddle for my G17 w/light. I've used it for a couple of courses, and it did well. Can't use it without a light on the gun, though.

If a retention device is not a requirement, I would give a serious look at Raven Concealment Systems. They do an excellent job of making holsters for handguns with lights.

I like my 6004 for duty carry, and was very happy with the bladetech's for CC/non jocked up carry -- but the RCS stuff is very very nice.
