View Full Version : Help with KAC Micro sights

So I am setting up a rifle using the KAC Micro Flip Up Rear Sight 200-600 and I just need a little help to make sure I sight these in properly.

I assume that the “Z” marker is where I set it for zeroing. Is this intended for a 25 meter zero? I assume if that is the case then when Zeroed at 25, I can then rotate to the desired range and it will be somewhere close to sighted in for that range.

I know the question sounds stupid, it’s just that I really have never seen these sights used before and I want to make sure I get it right so I can take full advantage of these sights. Any insight on sighting in with these would be appreciated.

Thanks

The "Z" is for 25 meter zeroing.
I highly recommend zeroing at 50 on "2", and then confirming at 200.

That was actually going to be my next question. So the "2" setting is about right for a 50 meter zero. I will confirm at 200. This was my original thought process.

Thanks for the help.

It's a new gig, thanks for noticing.
Was going to do an announcement, but that's what FB is for :D, so I just stuck it in my required sig line.

Sorry for the off-topic, but is KB still in his role?
