New LaRue LT129 cantilever question

I just got my LaRue LT129 cantilever mount in.

I followed the instructions of LaRue and tightened the screws on the LT129 mount around the Aimpoint Pro.

But...there is still a gap around the top (looking overhead/down-see pic) part where the LT129 ring won't come flush. I can only tighten it so much..as it is I tighten pretty hard!

Should there be a slight gap or should I tighten it till its flush with no gap.

What do you think?

Can someone please just look at your Aimpoint optic in your LaRue LT129 and see if there is a fairlywide gap or is it almost flush.

Did you hand-tighten or use a tool for the screws?

It's fine. As long as you followed the instructions, and the Aimpoint doesn't move, you're GTG.

Yhere will be a gap. You may want to re do it if you really cranked down on it. Too tight is not a good thing either
