Looks like the free shit army is going to win again. All of you need to buy it cheap and stack it deep.

Looks like we are going to ride this bitch into the ground. You need to get ready for the shit storm ahead. Gun makers and dealers are going to be busy for the next three years maybe longer.

This sucks.

Yeah, it's sad when you have to pick between a guy who worked for a anti-gun state and a guy who's infavor of a "AWB".

I dare you to pick out which is which.

More gridlock. This also throws a wrench in the works as far as another AWB in concerned.4 more yrs of the same shit....It only took Obombo 4 years to blow through 5 trillion...with any luck, the deficit should be around 21 trillion or so, when he's done...That's real close to the tipping point the way I figure it...

We were pretty screwed either way. You've got a populace that believes they can vote for free stuff. This was the republicans election to lose and they did it big time. They ran a shitty candidate. Until they move the religious right to the back they will continue to lose. Sorry to the very religious folks but the nation is for gay marriage, they are for pot legalization, etc..

OTOH apparently those are about the only civil liberties the left cares about. They are love continuing the Bush programs and ratcheting it up. They love the hell out of drones killing the shit out of every one and assassinating US citizens. The left apparently loves the idea of the government being able to invade your privacy (think SOPA, warrantless wiretaps, etc..). Oh and to those states that just voted to legalize pot, get back to me in 6 months and tell me how that 10th amendment is working out for you after the DEA raids your states and starts locking folks up.

Then again would this have changed under Romney? About the only thing that Romney offered was the possibility of maybe some fiscal sanity. Also, it helps if you run an aggressive campaign. If your candidate wants to run a "gentleman's" campaign, ditch him. For better or worse, it doesn't sell in this day and age. Learn to lie like your opponents. Yes it doesn't help if most of the media is in your opponent's pocket but you can win.

On the brighter side, the right keeps control of the House. So we're still looking at shit not getting done.

We are ****ed.

Two quotes from twitter that sum up tonight:

Lessons for the GOP: Ditch the culture war. Stop hating immigrants. Provide a real fiscal alternative. And instead of rape, embrace math!

Libertarians are what Republicans used to be fiscally and what Democrats wish they were and aspire to socially.

"Ahh" no, at least they may not be for long, Obama is going to sign the UN arms proliferation treaty, and he's going to attack the 2nd amendment, very likely burying it in regulation. You can thank the treachery of John Roberts this past summer in rehabilitating Obamacare as a tax, for that.

Few understood the ramifications of what Roberts did for Obama, he broke open the tax code, and gave him a whole new way to plunder the individual through taxation. He will have all the help he wants from congress in doing so. They are not going to stand up to him, at all! They just lost the easiest win in history, their brand is trashed, they are now firmly left of center, well left of center. They will respond(rightly so)as though the electorate is leninist, and they will strive to satisfy it!

You'd best be prepared, whats coming is not going to be moderate, its going to be substantially totalitarian! The first thing Obama and his senate will be doing is passing their "shiny new" firearm tax stamp act making it fundamentally impossible for most to afford one...

They are not going to stop at imported firearms, they are going to pass an act requiring citizens to purchase a tax stamp for each and every firearm that they own, or plan on purchasing, which thanks to Obamacare, is now perfectly constitutional...

I live in rural amerika, we have been savaged by Obama and his energy war. When the cretin was elected the first time, gas was 1.68 a gallon, today its hovering around four bucks! It will go way beyond $6.00, there will be no drilling, no exploration, no pipeline, no nothing!

The USA, it just died, don't you believe any of the dipshits that spin this into "no big deal!" This was a watershed moment, America was just premanently replaced with amerika, and its never coming back...

I think somebody should sue so we could at least spend the next four years talking about how Obama stole the election.

I'm ready to start looking for hanging chads.

:sarcastic:

Well at risk of repeating what I said 4 years ago, the GOP now has an "opportunity" to give us a real conservative that can actually fix things.

Instead of pandering to the left the GOP has to realize that there are three groups of voters.

1. Democrats who KNOW what Obama stands for and want all those things and NOTHING in the world will make them vote for any Republican ever.

2. Republicans who KNOW what Obama stands for and very much want to PREVENT those things from happening and DO NOT want a Republican candidate who wants to do some or all of the things Obama stands for.

3. Everyone else who has no ****ing idea what any of the issues actually are and have no ****ing clue what either candidate actually represents and pretty much decide who to vote for based upon the portrayal of each candidate on Saturday Night Live.

Exactly. I cannot believe how flippant some people are regarding this election, and I cannot believe this moron was re-elected.

For all of those who say we are over-reacting, the proof will be years down the road, after Obama has finished setting the stage for the dismantling of this nation.

The sheer ignorance of people, and the number of people who feel that government is the answer for everything, is truly sad.

I will guess far more than $21 Trillion. Debt has a way of going geometric. The more you borrow the more you have to borrow to cover your free goodies as well as costs of borrowing. If the Fed finally raises interest rates the whole things collapses quickly. If they don't then the debt just piles and piles up. It will not go on in a linear fashion much longer. More Boomers are getting to SSA/MC/MA eligible age.

Look if you don't get it we cannot help you. Half the country does not get it either. I did not like either candidate. Romney was the lesser of two evils. Romney's polices have not resulted in the death of six Americans, two on the border and four over seas. Romney has not secretly tried to undermine our 2A rights and than protected those that have.

Zero refused to help our people when they were under attack. He refused and looked away. That resulted in four deaths. His lack of action is going to result in more.

I also agree the power now rests with the states but not in the context you spoke of. How much damage zero and the Dems do from now on will be up to the courts and states. I hope after four more years of the same shit or much much worse we will be able to recover. I am not holding my breath. We have a very long road ahead of us. While I'm sickened by the election, I have not yet seen any evidence of fraud that should lead us to question the results. Granted, there were a few irregularities such as Obama posters at a couple of polling places, but nothing so widespread that it would make a difference.

Thus, maybe we should accept the reality that a conservative world view is the minority and we got beat.

Who knows what is going to happen.....one thing that could have serious consequences is an attempt by the President to bypass Congress and enact gun control measures by way of Executive Orders.

I see evidence of fraud, however its anecdotal. I prognosticated this outcome to perfection, the polling, that was the mechanism that was used to establish an aura of plausbility. Its why so many pundits misread the samplings as over-done, or over representative. They were planting seeds, prepping the electorate for fraud by convincing them that the worst president in modern American history had more then a great chance to win, despite his horrible record. He ran the most divisive campaign in American history, and won handily!

I know a fraud when I see one, and this, this wasn't even debatable, he should have gone down by twenty-five points, instead he won an electoral landslide, a close popular vote was window dressing for a totally pre-determined outcome. Keep in mind, every major media in the nation, including pollsters, are organs of the DNC, with but few exceptions!

Does anyone think that after all of the lies, deceptions, disinformation, and media efforts at covering his every track, that they were just happenstance? A major sheriff office has investigated his BC and found it to be a fraud and they were ridiculed, his every personal record remains a mystery, we know more about D.B. Cooper then we do a guy who has the worst record in modern American political history, and he wins re-election in an electoral landslide?

Not that it matter one jot, I ain't buying it....

I have had absolutely no faith in most humans for a long time (the absolute lack of integrity and self respect is overwhelming) and now I have lost all hope in this country--as a whole. I am pleased knowing that all those who oppose the greater good are going to get what they asked for. They are the unsuspecting, blind ****s who will suffer the most. They are my coworkers, friends and family who I once enjoyed sharing a word with; and as this election grew closer this summer, I began to realize how much I was beginning to hate them for their choices, their selfishness and their lack of integrity. Obama is a ****ing celebrity to these people and thats all. Most of them know nothing about policies or law...but they sure think he's cool.

The leftist party is just packed full of bloodsucking ignorance. The large portion of hispanics and the like who will always vote left, for the ability to piss on my country while taking the handouts, the lazy ****ing white/black/brown/red men and women who refuse to try to work and take from your pocket daily and think that is just fine, the damn union workers who vote for their own benefit and act as if they give a **** about the rest of their peers, the reported 93% of black folks who voted for him because...; well lets at least be honest about the majority of these votes and all the god forsaken politicians and media types who 'feed' off of this shit. We have military (past and present) who make below poverty wages, while the left doles the bennies out to some worthless, waste of life thug down the street. That **** just spends the money on his image and meeting more baby mommas. **** Off!!
I'm sure to some this probably sounds like some angry, white, anti-minority bullshit. The thing is...while this is angry, and I am white; it is not race biased...THESE ARE THE FACTS AND IT IS THE TRUTH!!! Wake up you assholes. This is the lack of integrity I am speaking of!

I can absolutely guarantee that I vote with the nation as a whole in mind. Anything I vote on in my own interest, is already guaranteed by the Constitution. My beliefs allow me the ability to help my fellow American when they are in need. That's what life is about...lending a hand where you can. The thing is, the left has promised 1000 different promises and leaves the taxpayer to fullfill them.

The people of this country who believe in the bigger picture of what it means to be American and who work hard to be granted the privelage of living within freedom's boundries, who often respect the Lord and their neighbors, who consistently give 'a little more' for the betterment of the country...they no longer have a voice.

I wish it had went differently...but it wasn't even close...not at all.

Deal is, as long as there are good jobs I will have one...and when there are only bad jobs, I will be working. And when there isn't anymore at all, we will begin the dark plunge into the bad shit.

I don't have any children and I'm not married. I have no fear within this subject.

I WILL NOT WAIVER, I CANNOT BE MOVED, I AM READY.

'Burn the bridge behind you; leave no retreat, for there is only one way home!'

As Battle*Hound mentioned, it is startling how so many people vote against their own interests. I know avid sportsmen, hunters, and gun owners who proudly vote straight Democrat even though that is the party of gun control, restricting hunting and fishing, restricting salmon catches, reducing public lands open to those activities, etc.

I see big ass SUV around town with Obama and old Al Gore stickers. WTF? Do you know he wants to cut back on drilling and make petroleum products less affordable and tax you to give money to poorly run green businesses?

A good percentage of military folks vote straight Democrat as well even though his presidency has been a total disaster in Afghanistan and the "Arab Spring" resulting in the Libya outrage. Why any military person would vote to have Obama as their command-in-chief baffles me but they do!

More than half of Catholics vote straight Dem even though that is the party of policies deemed inherent evils by their chosen Church: birth control, abortion, gay marriage, promotion of gay lifestyle, euthanasia, and socialism instead of subsidiarity. Of course the majority of their bishops and clergy vote the same way so can you blame the laymen?

40% of white men voting for a man who railed against whitey when he was a community organizer, lets New Black Panthers get away with voter intimidation of whites, is quick to call racist on innocent whites, and makes no bones about his agenda to favor blacks over whites, especially the non-protected class white man. White men are a minority yet are blamed for every evil. Meanwhile 93%-98% of blacks for for the black man, or only 2%-7% of blacks for for a white guy.

51% or more of Americans voting for a pampered community organizer who has never worked a private industry job in his life because they think he can best solve their far and away number one concern: the economy.

It's like the majority of my sisters, their husbands and my mother who love to travel, go on cruises, drive fast ski boats, have twice as many cars as we have including trucks, luxury cars, mid-life crisis sports cars and then prattle on about how global warming is so terrible and something must be done and so they vote for the wind bag with five humungous estates!

Makes me wonder if our species is latent suicidal or something.

Expect further polarization of the American populace.

Expect collapse.

The damnest part of the whole situation is that we have nowhere to go. There's no safety valve escape route. We can't escape west, we can't escape east, we can't go north or south. The entire world is covered in government, oppressive, controlling government. If there were only somewhere to go, a place to retreat to.

Absolutly.

There's a huge difference between immigration and migration.

Immigration is moving here, learning the laws and govt. and adapting within their new society to strengthen it from within through hard work and perserverance. I.E. living the American dream.

Migration is bringing your same old shit to a new place and making the new place just as shitty as the old one.

As was previously mentioned, I think things will have to become worse before they can get better. I don't think any of the above will come to pass and this is why:

1. It requires effort - something Americans have become very bad at putting forth.

2. We have been conditioned not to oppose the Borg.

3. Until enough people break away from the herd, it will remain the herd. Currently, more people are flocking to the 'gibs me dat' mentality than are moving away from it.

I, along with my family, are strong enough to survive anything that comes as a result of this. We have, as a nation, voted for what we want and I hope we get every damn bit of it. It is in this crucible of horrors that we will be refined and tested.

I will not bow to scum.

I will not give up on my country or my flag.

I will not turn my back on my true friends and neighbors.

I will continue to fight for what I believe to be true and right.

In the end, I will win.

Looking at the electoral map, county by county, Romney won by and large in rural areas (completely one all the counties in Oklahoma). It appears it is the cities that brought out the vote in big numbers, which is a shame.

I'd say actual representation has morphed to virtual representation (something we had a disagreement with in the mid 1170's). The country is now controlled by the cities, filled with freeloaders and people who have a tainted view of life outside the city limits.

There really is something to the logic that states: the closer proximity you are to another person, the more likely you are to vote Democrat. I suppose it's because people in huge cities rely on others for so much of their daily life, that personal responsibility really does not compute.

Absolutism makes people look and act stupid, and its led to the blindly partisan duopoly we have today. You guys need to realize I agree with you on a lot of points, but my criticism dosent stop with any one party . What I dont do is turn a blind eye to these huge problems when they being committed by "MY" side. All of you are guilty of being partisanly blind if you are just now getting mad about this election.I was mad when the parties picked their runners. Why should I be mad at common greed but not corporate greed? We need to not demonize the successful, but we also shouldnt keep cupping their balls with the huge tax breaks we give them, and ultimatly let them run the show with their monitary influence on shitbag politicians. Why should I rant about those dam welfare jockeys when republican states are some of the biggest consumers of welfare dollars per capita? Why complain about all these on-the-dole social programs feeding the ticks, when that money is small time compared to the bloated defense contract good ol boy system we have overpaying for everything. Throw a juvenile tantrum and then accuse me of "not getting it"? Sweet, keep disowning your country.

The sign of a partisan hack on any side is being under the dilution that their side is the correct and righteous one, support by THE FACTS and the support of real americans who are logical , and that any if that other side, ruled by emotion, would open their eyes or give up, we'd be much better off.

I think you are spot on. A fair share paid by all does not equate to socialism, especially in times of economic hardship. The Republicans will continue to lose if we keep putting up extremely socially conservative candidates with a penchant for not looking out for everybody. I can assure you that a large majority of this country felt that Mitt gave not one shit about their well being. I voted for him because I had to go along to get along...

Well I dont think anything is or should be mandated "fair". But people at the top will make money in any situation, huge taxes or small ones. No doubt warran buffet profitted off of warran buffet claiming he should pay more in taxes. People have lost the temper of maturity in this world of zero tolerance, my team or yours, "not voting for xxxxxx is just a vote for xxxxxx". We can learn a lot from the successful with demonizing them or giving them happy endings all the time.

What is dumb about the tax system? Saying we need to buckle down and spend lean for a while, but not have the balls to charge appropriate rates thru out the spectrum, while still giving all these kooky tax credits for solar panels and zen raised chicken and "clunkers".

I am saddened for the Family of Brian terry, and the SEALs' families after Benghazi. Justice will not come.

There's always the possibility of looking forward to impeachment, when all the facts are gathered...then we'll have Biden on our hands.:fie:

Looking at the Blue in Arizona. It seems to line up with some of the Indian reservations. Maybe the same in New Mexico?

No, there's not! You'll never hear of Benghazi again, at least not in any meaningful way, ditto for the gun walker fiasco...You don't know it yet, but you woke up in a completely different place this morning....

This is what happens when you have a government that tells its citizens what parts of its constitutional obligations it will honor, and which it will not! This is what happens when you allow in tens of millions of illegal aliens, and then represent them at the expense of your citizens!

I see the Democratic party in the White House for many years to come, even after BO is done with it. Why? What makes you think those that voted for BO this time are going to change their minds in the next election, even though BO won't be in the running?? It will be 8 years of gravy train, why spoil a good thing. Guaranteed, Dems are going to control the WH for a very long time. The Dems know what it takes to win, pander to those that want big government and free shit.

Interesting observation, and now that you mention it, it is curious.
