What distances are you looking to shoot at?

A DPMS barrel witha S&B scope on it? I mean, it may be a good barrel, but if you're going to drop over $2k on a scope why not a better quality barrel? Just curious on what your reasons for choosing it were.

I got it for a really good deal, plus if it doesnt shoot ill just scrap it and get something else. The scope was a take off from one of my bolt guns which is getting different glass.

Thanks man,

Took it out today and shot some black hills seconds 77gr 556, tightest it shot was 1/2 moa at 100 but averaged 3/4 to 1 min. Im going to try some handloads and see how it likes them.

Nice shooting. It's always nice to see a build go well!

From everything I've read, the DPMS Mk12 barrels are the exception to the usual craptastic DPMS accuracy.

WOW, that's sick.

Envy, not always a bad thing.

Yup, im pretty happy how this barrel shoots, still havent tried hand loads yet which im sure will tighten it up a bit.

I like the looks of that grip, I may have to pick one up!

Nice looking rig, I'm glad it performs well-enough for you. 3/4MOA in a semi-auto rifle with factory ammo isn't really anything to scoff at... I think the barrel is doing the job!
